Sarah Eubanks

Eubanks is a senior managing director for Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services, a division of McGraw-Hill Companies, and is chief of staff for the executive vice president in charge of the Ratings Group in New York. Previously she was responsible for setting up and heading the firm’s Chicago regional office. Eubanks had 15 years of state, regional and local government experience prior to coming to Standard & Poor’s in 1994. She served as executive director of the Michigan Municipal Bond Authority, was director of the Auto and Steel Division of the Michigan Department of Commerce and as a planner for a Flint, MI-based regional planning organization. She was one of the founding members of the Women in Public Finance Committee of Chicago as well as the Michigan Women in Finance Committee, and is a member of the Chicago Finance Exchange, an organization of women finance officers. In 2006, she was asked to serve on the Municipal Rulemaking Securities Board Selection Committee. She has served on the Board of the National Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Financial Advisory Board.
