Twilight Gatherings

You are invited to participate in one of the loveliest and most enjoyable fundraising events of the summer to help support a life-changing program for some of Michigan's children.

Women's Caring Program has blossomed into one of Michigan's premier advocates for early care and education. WCP's traditional annual garden party, the Twilight Gathering, sprouted from a small front porch gathering of women in 1979 with the goal of expanding this circle of friendship.

Over the years attendees of the Twilight Gatherings and WCP supporters have raised more than $2 million for ChildCare Commitment. ChildCare Commitment offers financial assistance to provide quality early care and education for children ages birth to 5 from working disadvantaged families. Early quality care and education, often out of reach for struggling parents, is essential for young children to build the skills necessary to succeed throughout school and to experience work-life success. To date, the Women's Caring Program has helped more than 1,000 children! This year, you can choose from six unique Twilight Gatherings to show your support for the children in our community.

Please join us – and bring a friend or several to one of the 2011 Twilight Gatherings – where friendships blossom and, together, we help young futures bloom.
