Helping Children Is Our Mission...

Children

For 30 years, the Women's Caring Program has been cultivating a garden of hope for the children of Michigan's working poor.

The Women's Caring Program (WCP), a non-profit foundation, believes that supporting disadvantaged children can yield major returns in a child’s life.

When disadvantaged children start kindergarten at a level behind their middle class peers, they rarely catch up in school. WCP's ChildCare Commitment helps Michigan’s disadvantaged children prepare for kindergarten by providing financial support for quality childcare and early childhood education. These basics in the formative years are key to strong academic performance and future work-life success.

Please help make a lasting difference. Support the WCP or volunteer your time.
